Registration
Who can register?
For locally-trained graduates, only those whose names appear on the Senate/Academic Board approved result lists submitted by their institutions can register, according to the NYSC.
My name is not on the senate list. What should I do?
Contact your institution's Student Affairs Officer. Institutions upload these lists; the NYSC cannot register you without them.
What do I need to register?
A functional email address, your correct matriculation number, a clear passport photograph with an off-white background and your signature. See our full registration documents checklist.
Can someone capture my biometrics for me?
No. The NYSC says biometric capture should not be done by proxy.
Do part-time graduates register?
Yes. The NYSC says part-time graduates should register when the portal opens so they can print their exclusion letter from their dashboard.
Can I request a specific state?
Concessional posting is available on marital grounds (married women seeking posting to their husband's state of domicile) and health grounds, with supporting documents uploaded during registration.
Corrections
I made a mistake in my details. Can I fix it?
The NYSC lists corrections to name spelling, date of birth, course of study, class of degree and qualification as dashboard self-services. Course of study, class of degree and qualification corrections are approved by your institution's Student Affairs Officer.
Can I add or remove a name?
No. The NYSC does not approve the addition or removal of names, only corrections to spelling or arrangement.
How do I correct my date of birth?
According to the NYSC, you obtain a WAEC verification PIN, enter it with your examination details on your dashboard and submit. The NYSC notes that the gap between your date of graduation and your WAEC date must be at least four years.
Call-up letters
Where do I print my call-up letter?

Does my call-up letter show my PPA?
No. You are posted to your place of primary assignment at the end of the orientation course.
What does my state of deployment mean?
It tells you which orientation camp you will attend. Find the address in our camp addresses list.

What should I do once I have my call-up letter?
